2022年、来門（RED ORCA / SMORGAS）、DJ BANBI、そして来門の息子であるRuuがドラマーとして参加し、1MC＋1DJ＋1Drumsのユニット「BURNING FIRES」を結成。
その後、SMORGASのベーシストとして来門と活動を共にしてきた河辺 真が加入し、現在の「NEO BURNING FIRES」へと進化を遂げる。
ドラムンベースを軸に、レゲエやヒップホップなど多様なジャンルを柔軟に取り入れたミクスチャースタイルが特徴。
DJ BANBIによる重厚なサウンドを土台に、ドラムとベースが生み出す強固なビート、その上を来門のフロウが自在に駆け巡る。
2025年にはレゲエアーティスト・曲兄とのコラボレーション楽曲「曲り道」もリリース。
ジャンルの枠にとらわれない自由な発想とライブ感を武器に、進化を続けている。

Formed in 2022, BURNING FIRES is a 1MC + 1DJ + 1Drums unit consisting of Raimon (RED ORCA / SMORGAS), DJ BANBI, and drummer Ruu, Raimon’s son.
Later, Makoto Kawabe—who had previously performed alongside Raimon as a bassist in SMORGAS—joined the group, evolving the project into its current form, NEO BURNING FIRES.

Rooted in drum and bass, their sound blends elements of reggae, hip-hop, and other genres into a flexible, genre-crossing mixture style.
Built on DJ BANBI’s heavy sound, the solid groove created by drums and bass forms the foundation, while Raimon’s flow moves freely across the top.

In 2025, they released “Magarimichi,” a collaborative track with reggae artist Mage-nii.
With a free-spirited approach that transcends genres and a strong live-driven energy, the group continues to evolve.
